A massive explosion ripped through a brick factory located near Majpur Jagannathpur in Barasat, causing widespread destruction and leaving a trail of death and injury in its wake. The intensity of the blast was such that several nearby houses were blown away, and the immediate vicinity was strewn with the tragic remains of the disaster. At least 10 individuals have been reported dead, while numerous others sustained injuries of varying degrees.
